The Mirage Hotel & Casino in Vegas is doing an awesome job keeping their online presence top-of-mind for guests (and potential guests).

Socialize

First, they have a “Socialize” page on their website specifically outlining all their social media platforms.

QR Codes

They’ve also begun getting into QR codes this year. their best campaign right now is their $3 off admission to Siegfried & Roy’s Secret Garden & Dolphin Habitat by scanning the code displayed on busses, taxis, online and other mediums which brings the user to a landing page. All they have to do is show this page to the ticket booth when purchasing their tickets.

Facebook Promotions

There are several promotions being pushed via their social media channels right now, including their Rodney Carrington VIP Comedy Package that includes airfare and all sorts of VIP treatment. It’s only been up two weeks and has garnered about 3,000 entries, which is one of their best responses to a social contest to-date. Since Facebook policy states that no contest/promotion/sweepstakes can be entered via liking, commenting, or posting a picture/post, the hotel’s going through a third-party app which has guests enter all their data and specifically notifies them that they’re entering a contest. They opted to use ShortStack Lab as their third-party and are loving the company and its product as a whole.
